Governor Made Mangku Pastika stated the plan in Denpasar yesterday.
He said that the two islands which are part of Klungkung Regency only had a small suspension bridge connecting Lembongan and Ceningan. We plan to build a permanent bridge. "We’ll evaluate the urgency first, especially how it affects tourism on both islands", he said.
The bridge is broken and is currently repaired by the local people, because so far, the provincial government did not take any action at all!
